Fishing For A Compliment

Today we went to the Shell station to get Slush Puppies to celebrate Evan's transition to buckling his car seat belt all by himself every time.  I was waxing philosophical telling the boys I can't believe how grown up they are - doing so many things for themselves.  I remarked that they don't need me for much anymore and gave a dramatic sigh.  My hero, Ryan, piped up and said, "Of course we need you.  Who would we love?"
